This Teaching Assistant role with DescriptionEmployerLocationWestonbirt School is focused on westonbirt School are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work within the Learning Support Department to support a designated Year 7 pupil 1:1 as well as within the classrooms. It would suit someone who can bring have a good sense of humour and be flexible and adaptable to the role.

Westonbirt School are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work within the Learning Support Department to support a designated Year 7 pupil 1:1 as well as within the classrooms.

Practical details
- To provide Full Time one-to- one support for a named EHCP Year 7 pupil.
- To follow and implement the school's rules and policies, including those on behaviour, safeguarding and GDPR.
- To be aware of the school safeguarding policy and to act according to its instruction.
- To liaise with teachers and SENDCO on content of delivery and outcomes of lessons.
What needs to be in place
- A relevant NVQ or similar qualification related to working with children or an interest in gaining experience in working to promote inclusion in an educational setting.
- Previous experience in working with SEND pupils.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
