1:1 Teaching Assistant
Job description
This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around supporting pupils with additional needs to develop emotional and academically. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Who the work supports
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support 1:1 with a student who requires extra support. This may be with a KS1 or KS2 student, so we are looking for candidates who are flexible.
How support shows up
Supporting pupils with additional needs to develop emotional and academically. Assisting with organising and tidying the classroom when necessary. A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
What needs to be in place
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles (CPD training provided).
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
Job details
- Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- A number of primary schools based in the Winchester area are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible, we have temporary and permanent positions availab.
