What the role involves
- 2nd Line Network Support focuses on maintain hosted & avaya ip office, hosted telephony, lan/wan equipment.
- Test and maintenance of CAT5e, CAT6, and Cw1308 cable schemes.
- Provide support on connectivity including PSTN, ISDN, SIP, ADSL, FTTC and Leased Lines.
- Installation/configuration and fault finding of SIP services.
- Site support & installation for customer devices and related software, network servers, and storage.
- Providing Support for Windows 7/8/10, Server 2008//2012/2016, SBS 2008 and SBS 2011, Mac OS, Android and IOS.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant technical experience with the stack, platform, data, or support environment is important.
- Responsible for managing own workload and to ensure tickets can be progressed correctly, referring to our Service Desk Manager if required.
