Account Manager
Account Manager focuses on to maintain existing relationships with customers and liaise with supply chain to ensure consistent high level of service.
What the role involves
- To maintain existing relationships with customers and liaise with supply chain to ensure consistent high level of service.
- Maintaining regular contact with customers, developing long-term relationships with customers.
- Developing defined sectors and accounts annualising contracts where possible and ensuring orders are covered with PO’s.
- Maintaining and growing margins through negotiating pricing with customers and competitive costs from suppliers.
- Managing existing relationships with customers with regular customer business reviews, identifying and gathering product demand.
- Monthly basis as appropriate and updating monthly.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant sales, account management, business development, CRM, or customer-facing experience may be useful.
Candidate fit
- Numerate and ability to read P&L and understand margins.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent time management.
