What the role involves
- Owning and developing sales activity across assigned UK public sector accounts.
- Understanding each customer’s business, technical environment, operational challenges, and procurement process.
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new and existing account opportunities.
- Working closely with Sales Engineers to ensure effective technical positioning and ongoing customer support.
- Ensuring all activity follows company sales processes, policies, ethical standards, and revenue recognition requirements.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and partners to support successful customer outcomes.
Skills and requirements
- 5+ years’ sales experience within networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise IT solutions.
- Proven experience selling into UK public sector, central government, local government, or related public bodies.
- A demonstrable track record of consistent quota achievement and territory growth.
- Manage a strong sales pipeline, ideally around 4x quota coverage.
