Account Manager
Account Manager focuses on develop, agree and implement the commercial strategy, agreed with the senior management team.
What the role involves
- Develop, agree and implement the commercial strategy, agreed with the Senior Management Team.
- Category Management. Ensure efficient management of the product range utilizing all aspects of category management, including promotions, sales.
- Liaise with technical, purchasing, and production departments of the business that impact upon sales and influence these to deliver forecast requirements.
- Managing communication and relationships internally and externally to ensure all relevant parties are fully informed on applicable issues and effective decisions are made.
- Interact with relevant internal and external departments to ensure customer service level requirements are in the forefront and actively identifying methods of improvement.
- Manage and provides PDP.
Skills and requirements
- Level 2 compliance courses (Slips & Trips, Manual Handling, Risk & Responsibilities, Food Safety for Manufacturing).
- Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.
- Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
- Category experience, leading a product range with leading partners.
