Accountant – Financial Reporting
Job description
As a Accountant in Scotland Institute of Chartered Accountan, the work centres on preparation of Annual Reports and Accounts in accordance with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidance, incorporating IFRS. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Role overview
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm). Duration: Temporary – Until End of August 2026.
Main responsibilities
Preparation of Annual Reports and Accounts in accordance with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidance, incorporating IFRS. Leading, manage, and motivate staff to ensure continuous improvement of services. Dealing with internal and external auditors including the Northern Ireland Audit Office.

Requirements
- A minimum of one year’s experience gained within the last five years in one or more of the following areas:.
- Successfully passed the final professional examinations and be a full, current member of one of the following professional bodies:.
