What the role involves
- Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Scanning, uploading, and electronically filing documentation.
- Setting up new suppliers and customers within the accounting system.
- Processing purchase invoices accurately using an automated invoice processing system.
- Chasing outstanding payments and managing credit control activities.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration role.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero would be advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
Confirmed role details
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm.
- Up to £30,000 per annum DOE.
