Actemium Design — Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer

This Principal Mechanical Engineer role is focused on we are recruiting a Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer to author Mechanical Design Substantiation Reports which will underpin the design of the various process systems. It would suit someone who can bring handling site-by-site responsibilities with consistency and care to the role.

What you would be doing

We are recruiting a Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer to author Mechanical Design Substantiation Reports which will underpin the design of the various process systems. ACTEMIUM Design offers multidiscipline design expertise which enables us to deliver robust solutions to our customers on mission critical and strategically important projects. Actemium Design UK is currently producing the design of the Process Plant and Equipment (PP&E) to deliver an enduring manufacturing capability for a key customer in the defence ind.

The working style that fits

Handling site-by-site responsibilities with consistency and care. Questioning attitude, confident to challenge information where needed. Good oral and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing.

What you need

• Degree with honours or Level 6 equivalent.
• Several years’ experience working in design engineering.
• Previous experience in design substantiation and safety case involvement for highly regulated industries.
