  • Identify and address risks promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Building professional, person-centred relationships with service users and collaborating with other teams for cohesive support will be key.

Skills and requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Dip COT), along with registration with the Health.
  • Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • You should have experience in assessing needs, advising, and facilitating equipment use, as well as managing a caseload.
  • Additionally, knowledge of assistive technology, specialist equipment, and aids is essential.
