- Regular reviews and updates of these plans will ensure they meet needs and improve outcomes.
- Identify and address risks promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Building professional, person-centred relationships with service users and collaborating with other teams for cohesive support will be key.
Skills and requirements
- To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Dip COT), along with registration with the Health.
- Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- You should have experience in assessing needs, advising, and facilitating equipment use, as well as managing a caseload.
- Additionally, knowledge of assistive technology, specialist equipment, and aids is essential.
