This Adults Social Worker opportunity in Surrey is built around our C2C Teams act as the first point of response, providing urgent assessments, safeguarding, and support planning. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.

Our East 2 Area team supports those from the age of 18 upwards with eligible care support needs. Up to 5 days of carer’s leave and 2 paid volunteering days per year.

What you need
- Successful completion of an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme if qualified as a social worker after June 2012.
- Surrey County Council is undergoing Local Government Reorganisation, moving from a two-tier system to two new unitary councils in April 2027.
- Experience in Social Work, including assessment and risk management skills.
Practical information
- Option to buy up to 10 days of additional annual leave.
- 26 days’ holiday, rising to 28 days after 2 years' service and 31 days after 5 years’ service.
- Work model: Remote.
- Additional detail: Flexible working options may be available.
