What the role involves
- Delivering tailored one-to-one and small group interventions to support student progress.
- Assisting teaching staff in adapting learning activities to meet individual student needs.
- Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, and other barriers to learning, encouraging independence and engagement.
- Monitoring student development and contribute to progress reviews.
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to enhance student outcomes.
Skills and requirements
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar educational support role.
- Understanding of supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting young people.
Confirmed role details
- Temporary, Supply, Part-Time, Term Time Only.
- Start Date: September 2026 or sooner.
- £102 – £120 per day (Depending on experience).
