What the role involves

  • Managing a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, including CIN, CP, and PLO cases.
  • Develop outcome-focused plans to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
  • Leading and participate in multi-agency meetings, including child protection conferences, core groups, and legal planning meetings.
  • Preparing high-quality reports for court and other statutory processes, ensuring timely and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Conduct regular home visits and direct work with children to assess risk.
  • Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver coordinated and effective interventions.

Skills and requirements

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Free DBS and compliance service.
  • Twice weekly payroll and ‘Faster Pay’ service, getting you paid more quickly.
