A&E Nurses focuses on triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.

What the role involves

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.

Skills and requirements

• NMC Registration 6 months.
• 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months- able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
• To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health for full EPP and Updated CV.
• Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.

• No shift in this A&E department, is ever the same, you will face many different case types whilst providing an invaluable service to individuals in a critical time of need.
• Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams.
• Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £23.43 to £39.57 per hour.
• Holiday pay for PAYE workers.
