What the role involves
- Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
- Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
- Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
Skills and requirements
- NMC Registration 6 months.
- 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months- able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health for full EPP and Updated CV.
- Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.

- Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £23.43 to £39.57 per hour.
- Holiday pay for PAYE workers.
