What the role involves

• Assess client systems and processes against BSI, ISO, and AS/EN requirements, ensuring audits deliver real value.
• Preparing accurate, detailed assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Recommend certification decisions (issue, re‑issue, suspension, withdrawal) in line with BSI policies and timelines.
• Deliver audits professionally, maintaining BSI’s high standards across all interactions.
• Provide meaningful client feedback, demonstrating strong commercial and operational understanding.
• Maintaining a consistent, professional, and engaging approach throughout all assessments.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 4 years of aerospace, space, or defence industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Proven management system auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the UK, including overnight stays.
