What the role involves
- Assess client systems and processes against BSI, ISO, and AS/EN requirements, ensuring audits deliver real value.
- Preparing accurate, detailed assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Recommend certification decisions (issue, re‑issue, suspension, withdrawal) in line with BSI policies and timelines.
- Deliver audits professionally, maintaining BSI’s high standards across all interactions.
- Provide meaningful client feedback, demonstrating strong commercial and operational understanding.
- Maintaining a consistent, professional, and engaging approach throughout all assessments.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum 4 years of aerospace, space, or defence industry experience within the last 10 years.
- Proven management system auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the UK, including overnight stays.
