What the role involves
- Repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.
- Maintaining, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
- Repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
- Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance.
- Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment.
Confirmed role details
- Competitive salary up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week between 7:00am - 4:00pm.
- Participation in 'out of hours' on call rota.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
