AP Shift Engineer focuses on managing contractors during planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure h&s compliance and works completion to an acceptable standard.

What the role involves

  • Managing contractors during planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure H&S compliance and works completion to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensure all assigned maintenance activities are carried out effectively, efficiently and safely.
  • Complete all assigned maintenance and reactive tasks to ensure KPI and SLA’s are met.
  • Maintain advanced plant systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Authorised HV/LV Person duties incudes and not limited to.
  • As the authorised person on shift, you will have no direct reports however you will be responsible for the following.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Additional role context

  • Recognized Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC qualifications and apprenticeships C&G, HNC/HND etc.
  • Fully qualified electrical C&G 2360 parts 1 and 2.
