Application Engineer

Application Engineer focuses on for assisting with the profitable growth of the motion control business in the northeast and east.

What the role involves

• For assisting with the profitable growth of the Motion Control business in the Northeast and East.
• To offer technical training, advice and assistance to internal and external personnel.
• Attend joint customer visits with Account Managers, Sales Managers, Technology Partner Account Managers and other external sales teams.
• Communicate and interface with Service Centres and other departments on technical and commercial issues and portray a professional image at all times.
• For delivering relevant workshops to our customer base within their geographic area.

Skills and requirements

• HNC/HND or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent engineering qualification) is required.
• Technical understanding of a selection from the following: Servos, Gearboxes, Drives, Motors, Mechatronics.
• The successful applicant will have the ability to provide effective technical solutions, solve problems and endeavour to provide continuous benefits for both the customer and the c.

• £50k + £12k OTE + Car or Allowance.
