Job description

The Apprentice Early Years Educator position centres on supporting the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. It would suit someone who can bring a genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to a career in childcare to the role.

Role overview

• GCSE Maths and English C/4 or above Personal Qualities. Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

Main responsibilities

Supporting the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality. Help prepare and serve snacks and meals, encouraging healthy eating habits.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
