Wayman Education is recruiting a full-time Art Technician for a January start, supporting a highly regarded Art & Design department within an academically strong and exceptionally well-resourced Independent School.

You will assist with preparing materials, maintaining studios, supporting practical lessons and helping facilitate the department’s rich programme of exhibitions and creative projects.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Experience working in an Art department, studio or creative workshop

• Knowledge of a range of materials, tools, processes and safe handling

• Strong organisational skills and an ability to prepare resources efficiently

• Understanding of H&S, including COSHH requirements

• A proactive, creative and reliable approach to supporting teaching staff
