Asbestos Surveyor focuses on carry out asbestos surveys at client sites, including the safe sampling of suspect materials, accurately recording findings in line with job instructions and internal procedures.

What the role involves

• Carry out asbestos surveys at client sites, including the safe sampling of suspect materials, accurately recording findings in line with job instructions and internal procedures.
• Assess identified asbestos risks, providing clear recommendations on removal or safe management solutions, and offering ongoing advice to support client compliance.
• Work collaboratively with clients and internal project teams, ensuring effective communication, timely and accurate reporting, and resolution of any site‑based issues.
• Supporting continuous improvement and best practice.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities, including audits and corrective actions.
• We are looking to engage an experienced Freelance Asbestos Surveyor to support with our Asbestos surveying activities at client sites across the UK.

Skills and requirements

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a similar role or environment.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and document survey findings.
