Asphalt Technician focuses on reporting against the specification quality requirements for laying of asphalt materials.

What the role involves

• Reporting against the specification quality requirements for laying of asphalt materials.
• Carry out UKAS laboratory testing on asphalt and aggregate materials at our supply unit laboratories and on-site laboratories.
• Organise, and liaise with in-house technicians and third-party suppliers of technical services to assist with workload.

Skills and requirements

• Have a flexible, proactive and ‘hands-on’ approach to work with effective communication, problem solving and IT skills.
• Be involved with customers and colleagues at every level in the business and therefore you should be able to work confidently and courteously within the team and on your own initia.

• Asphalt Technician focuses on carry out pavement quality testing and monitoring Onsite in accordance with job specifications for a variety of different asphalt materials.
