Job description
This Teaching Assistant role is focused on be supporting a small class of 7-10 students, working in partnership with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff to deliver specific interventions that aim to bo. It would suit someone who can bring supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine to the role.
How the role is set up
This Special Educational Needs School in Leatherhead is for children aged 4-16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD). £90 - £110 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm, term time only.
Where someone would start
Be supporting a small class of 7-10 students, working in partnership with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff to deliver specific interventions that aim to bo. Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
What helps someone build confidence
Supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine. Most children have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and an Autism diagnosis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
What is expected
- Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students.
- You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship.
- Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will need to have or apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check where appropriate.
