  • Support staff team to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students’ learning, development and language acquisition.
  • Deliver interventions to children with speech, language and communicational needs both in a small group and 1:1.
  • Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students.
  • Ensure safeguarding of students, in line with procedures.

Skills and requirements

  • Are you an outstanding Graduate looking to gain experience before pursuing a career as a Speech and Language Therapist?
  • As an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALT).
  • Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students.
  • Experience is not required, but candidates should demonstrate an interest in working with children with SEN.

Candidate fit

  • Most children have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and an Autism diagnosis.
