Assembly Operative focuses on complete assembly of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic components by reading engineering drawings.

What the role involves

• Complete assembly of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic components by reading engineering drawings.
• Operating various hand, air, and power tools to manufacture machinery in a timely manner.
• Perform component re-work as and when needed.
• Responsible for picking parts to a pick list accurately.
• Supporting the rest of the team by testing and preparing parts for final dispatch.
• Ideally you will have a manufacturing background with some form of engineering qualification.

Confirmed role details

• Stowmarket, Suffolk.
• 07:00-15:30 (40 hours).
• Overtime is also regularly available, all at increased rates of pay.
• There is a salary review with the possibility of a pay rise following your probation.
