Assembly Technician focuses on the assembly technician will build production hydraulic assemblies and other components from start to finish.

What the role involves

  • The Assembly Technician will build production hydraulic assemblies and other components from start to finish.
  • Test production hydraulic units.
  • Assemble brake and steering mechanical components to production specification using information from GA drawings and procedures.
  • Ensure build sign off paperwork is completed.
  • Prepare component parts when required using machining and fabrication equipment.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times.

Skills and requirements

  • Machining and fabrication experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working with Carbon fibre would be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows.
  • Engineering certification or equivalent.
