What the role involves

• This role offers the opportunity to support the Registered Manager in ensuring the home operates to the highest standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding.
• Assisting in the day-to-day management of Rowan House, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements.
• Supporting the Registered Manager in leading and supervising the residential care team.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all decisions.
• Promote safeguarding and well-being, maintaining high standards of practice.
• Ensure efficient operational delivery.

Skills and requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent).
• Post-qualified experience in residential childcare.
• Strong leadership and safeguarding knowledge.
• Free DBS and compliance service.
