Assistant Cost Manager/Cost Manager focuses on as an assistant cost manager/cost manager, you will be expected to support the project team to successfully manage.

What the role involves

  • As an Assistant Cost Manager/Cost Manager, you will be expected to support the project team to successfully manage.
  • Deliver capital investment projects which will include gas transmission and storage projects.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of cost/commercial management commissions.
  • Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Assisting in monitoring project risks (threats and opportunities).
  • Assist in project reviews at appropriate points throughout the project lifecycle which will inform.

Skills and requirements

  • Experience of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).
  • Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
  • Relationship building skills –ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build.

  • Financial Acumen: Skills in budget management and financial oversight to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
