What the role involves
- As an Assistant Cost Manager/ Cost Manager, you will be expected to work as part of a team to successfully manage.
- Supporting Cost/Commercial Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
- Client-side cost management, including stakeholder, risk, and contract management.
- Supporting projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team.
- Supporting business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
Skills and requirements
- Infrastructure cost/commercial management experience (Water industry experience desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).
- Experience of working as part of an integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
- Relationship building skills –ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build.
