Role overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their established and fast-paced finance team in the motor industry. Reporting directly to the dealership accountant, this role plays a key part in supporting financial operations across sales and service departments.

Main responsibilities

Providing ad-hoc finance support to other dealerships when required. Maintenance of payables and receivables ledgers. Daily bank reconciliations and weekly cash-flow forecasting.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months’ experience in a dealership finance role (highly desirable).
• Working knowledge of Kerridge and ADP Accounts software is advantageous.
