Assistant Driller

Assistant Driller focuses on supporting the lead driller with geotechnical drilling operations.

What the role involves

• Supporting the Lead Driller with geotechnical drilling operations.
• Assisting with site preparation, rig set-up, and borehole drilling.
• Handling drilling tools, rods, and consumables.
• Supporting installation of monitoring equipment such as piezometers and standpipes.
• Assisting with the safe operation of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Carry out daily pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling (or willingness to work towards it).

Confirmed role details

• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
