What the role involves

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Supporting the subcontractor and supplier enquiry process.
• Helping to build up rates, cost plans and pricing documents.
• Assisting in identifying risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Supporting the preparation of tender reports and submissions.
• Working closely with estimators, engineers and commercial teams.

Skills and requirements

• Degree or working towards a degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Join a contractor going through a major period of growth.

Confirmed role details

• As a Junior Estimator, you will support the pre-construction team in the preparation of competitive tenders and cost plans.
• Gain hands-on experience across all stages of the estimating process, with clear progression into a more senior role.
• Senior Estimator roles with 6 figures packages.

Additional role context

• Proficiency in Excel (estimating software experience is a bonus).
• Up to £50,000 per annum.
• Car allowance (or travel support depending on level).
