Assistant General Manager

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £63,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a car allowance of £6,000 per year plus a 15% bonus, a company sponsored pension scheme, life insurance and death in service.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead warehouse operations to meet KPIs and budget targets
- Motivate, coach, and develop teams to drive engagement and performance
- Promote clear communication and a culture of continuous improvement
- Champion health & safety compliance across all operational areas
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and challenge existing processes to drive innovation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous proven experience in managing large teams in high-volume logistics environments
- Proven ability to coach and develop others
- Strong understanding of health & safety and inclusive workplace practices
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
