- Experience with succession planning tools or HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
- Japanese language proficiency is a bonus, but not required.
- Data-driven mindset with the perseverance to build systems from the ground up.
Confirmed role details
- Orchestrate the annual succession calibration cycle: ensure calibration is data-driven and objective, and track movement of succession candidates into target roles.
Additional role context
- Revenues for FY2024 (ended March 31, 2025) totaled 9,783.3 billion yen, with 618 consolidated subsidiaries and approximately 280,000 employees worldwide.
- The Hitachi Group has been moving towards realizing One Hitachi HR functions and talent management under its new management policy, Inspire 2027, which began in FY25.
- Will be a mixture of remote-hybrid work with days in the Hitachi Office.
