Assistant Manager

This Assistant Manager role is focused on a motivated & experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant General manager to help lead the team. It would suit someone who can bring have be confident in running a busy business in which food plays a key role to the role.

Last year alone we had the pleasure of hosting nearly 250 weddings. Established in 1853, The Phene become part of the Youngs family in 2024 and the business has been well looked after, maintained its identity and continued to thrive!

What the role carries

A motivated & experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant General manager to help lead the team. Be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. Be a real face for the business and be able to build rapport with the regulars and our wonderful team.

What the role depends on

• Have experience managing kitchen teams, have excellent food knowledge, and have an exceptional eye for detail.
