What the role involves

• At Ground Control Geotechnical Solutions, we deliver innovative and sustainable geotechnical services that support safe and efficient infrastructure projects.
• We’re looking for an Assistant Driller to support our drilling teams Onsite.
• Supporting the Lead Driller with geotechnical drilling operations.
• Assisting with site preparation, rig set-up, and borehole drilling.
• Handling drilling tools, rods, and consumables.
• Supporting installation of monitoring equipment such as piezometers and standpipes.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling (or willingness to work towards it).
• This role offers structured training, NVQ qualifications, and clear progression to Lead Driller and supervisory roles within GCES.

Confirmed role details

• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
• 23 days holiday, Increasing with length of service + bank holidays.
