Duties:

Assist in managing day-to-day workshop operations ensuring efficiency and productivity

Supervise technician activities including PDI, servicing, and diagnostics

Control workshop workflow and delegate tasks appropriately

Price jobs accurately and effectively to maintain profitability

Take on assistant manager responsibilities, supporting the Service Centre Manager

Handle keyholder responsibilities including alarm security and access control

Contribute to recruitment efforts to build a skilled and motivated team

Drive new business and enhance customer satisfaction levels

Requirements:

Proven experience working within an automotive service environment, ideally in a supervisory or assistant managerial role

Strong understanding of workshop processes, diagnostics, and vehicle repairs

Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a busy workshop

Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers

Flexible attitude to working hours, with the ability to cover rota shifts as needed

Enthusiastic with a proactive approach to improving workshop performance
