Assistant Site Manager focuses on supporting the site manager in the day-to-day management and supervision of the construction site, ensuring all activities adhere to company standards and health and safety regulation.
What the role involves
- Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management and supervision of the construction site, ensuring all activities adhere to company standards and health and safety regulation.
- Monitor subcontractors and labour resources to maintain efficient workflow and quality standards.
- Assisting with the implementation of the site programme, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and site diaries.
- Facilitate effective communication between the site team, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Skills and requirements
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Clean driving licence.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably managing traditional new build homes.
- Based Onsite in Corby, East Midlands, with occasional travel to other company sites as required.
Confirmed role details
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday - Friday 7:30am - 16:30pm.
- £40,000 - £55,000 per annum + benefits package.
- Car allowance or company car, fuel allowance, private pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, and additional benefits.
- Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours to meet project demands.
