Assistant Transport Manager

Assistant Transport Manager focuses on in this role you will support the senior transport manager in the smooth and compliant running of daily transport operations across the fleet (including cars, vans and hgvs).

What the role involves

• In this role you will support the Senior Transport Manager in the smooth and compliant running of daily transport operations across the fleet (including cars, vans and HGVs).
• Maintain accurate records to ensure that vehicles, drivers and associated activities meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Help to coordinate vehicle availability.
• Assist with monitoring driver hours, analysing tachograph data, checking licence and training compliance, and ensuring that vehicle defects, inspections and documentation are follo.
• Support the management of performance, conduct and absence in line with company policies.
• Contribute to driver briefings and debriefs, help address operational issues as they arise.
