How the role works day to day

Managing a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans where we act as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent. Coordinating with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers regarding loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other ad hoc requests. Processing transfers, set up waterfalls and review back-office calculations.

What needs to be in place

• Liaise with borrowers and their representatives to ensure reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents is provided in a timely manner.
• Experience creating financial models and managing borrower reporting in line with finance documents.
• Experience as a CRE Facility Agent and/or in a similar facility agency role, with exposure to UK and European CRE lending.
