Associate Process Engineer
Associate Process Engineer focuses on check process flow diagrams, mass balance calculations, pid’s.
What the role involves
- Check process flow diagrams, mass balance calculations, PID’s.
- Process control, operating philosophy, control philosophy, FDS documents and the principles therein. Undertake survey and assessments of existing process/equipment (asset surveys).
- Collaborate with clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholder buy-in to solutions, also contributing to AECOM’s wider technical capability and innovative approach.
- Oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.
- Leading: Represent AECOM in technical meetings with clients and work with engineers from other disciplines, ensuring an appropriate integrated solution.
- Become part of our dynamic Water business, which boasts around 600 experts across the UK & Ireland.
Skills and requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status with IChemE or CIWEM.
- Water treatment process design and optimisation using appropriate Water Company standards and specifications.
- Extensive experience in water treatment, managing the technical delivery of large-scale engineering projects.
