This Attendance Officer role is focused on in this role you will provide an effective and efficient service to the school and prospective parents, working with individual students and their families to improve attendance. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

The Archbishop's School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Issue routine correspondence to parents regarding attendance and absence requests in accordance with the school’s procedures.
How the role works day to day
In this role you will provide an effective and efficient service to the school and prospective parents, working with individual students and their families to improve attendance. As a key member of the Attendance team, you will take specific ownership for undertaking all tasks associated with the management and monitoring of attendance. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
What needs to be in place
- Have experience and knowledge of using IT systems and to conduct analysis and produce reports.
- Do you have experience of attendance systems within an education setting?
- Have knowledge of a range of computer applications, including work Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SIMS.
