Role overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Audio Typist within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Team at Scarborough Hospital. They must be a proficient Audio Typist with the ability to transcribe complex digital dictation.
Main responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work effectively using their own initiative, as well as being part of a team. Will mainly include the audio typing of outpatient/admin letters and reports, and dealing with any subsequent instruction as indicated by the dictation such as making outpatient ap. Audio typing of outpatient clinic, discharge and general administrative letters.
Requirements
- They must also possess excellent typing skills or RSA II level qualification as well as previous clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer based se.
- GCSE English Language, Grade C or above ( or equivalent).
- Word processing skills – RSA II ( or equivalent).
