What the role involves

• Take ownership of a diverse audit portfolio, ensuring engagements are delivered to a consistently high technical and professional standard.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a commercially aware adviser.
• Overseeing the delivery of multiple audit assignments simultaneously, balancing efficiency, quality and risk.
• Supporting the development of a small number of direct reports through coaching, feedback and mentoring.
• Coordinating resources and timelines to meet client expectations and wider operational priorities.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice by identifying opportunities within existing relationships and supporting pitch activity.

Skills and requirements

• ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Currently operating at Audit Manager level within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong working knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Proven experience managing multiple audits and competing deadlines.
