Audit Manager

This Audit Manager opportunity is built around monitoring budgets and agree fees for each engagement. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.
Role overview
Responsible for managing audit teams on various assignments, with line management responsibility for a group of staff, along with other managers. Be able to identify areas of risk within clients’ businesses, define the appropriate audit approach, know when to refer upwards and apply judgment.
Main responsibilities
Monitoring budgets and agree fees for each engagement. Managing key client relationships and expectations. Presenting on internal student training courses.
Requirements
- Have experience of, and responsibility for, performance appraisal and development.
- Have experience of due diligence and handling of ad hoc special assignments.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques ideally within a firm of chartered or certified accountants.
