The Autism Support Assistant position centres on we are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work within a primary school supporting pupils on the autism spectrum. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 autism support. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Main responsibilities

We are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work within a primary school supporting pupils on the autism spectrum. Use visual supports and structured approaches. Work closely with teaching and SEN staff.

Requirements

  • In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
  • We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers.
