The Teaching Assistant position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
How the role is set up
SCG are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work 1-1 in one of our outstanding schools in New-le-willows. Start date - ASAPMinimum rate of pay - Minimum rate [[SALARY_0]]Hours - 8:00 am - 4.30pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSTeaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent.
Where someone would start
supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.
What is expected
- Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).
- A successful Teaching Assistant will have good experience working with primary school children inside and outside of a classroom setting.
