AV Technician
AV Technician focuses on carrying out regular in-room system checks so that the functionality of all rooms and av facilities are checked on a daily basis.
What the role involves
- Carrying out regular in-room system checks so that the functionality of all rooms and AV facilities are checked on a daily basis.
- Producing a rota and maintaining records of room checks and any faults found.
- Providing AV technical support to users, this may be via telephone, in person by visiting the room or via email, speed of response time will be important.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and resolution of problems that may occur with the AV systems.
- Managing regular software patching and updating of AV equipment.
- User support for important meetings including “white glove” service for senior leadership as required.
Skills and requirements
- IT support role within a Corporate or Government environment.
- Ideally some past experience in an AV.
- Technical aptitude and interest in solving AV and IT related issues.
- Knowledge of Google meet , Teams or Zoom would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided.
Confirmed role details
- On-Site AV Technician.
- London N1 Working 4 days Monday-Thursday 3 month.
- As well as a working knowledge of It systems including Apple Mac’s.
- This is a key support role and a perfect opportunity for the right person to manage their workload and own the on-site first line AV support in a busy and hi-tech environment.
