What the role involves

  • Manage a complex caseload and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, client-centred rehabilitation services.
  • As a Senior OT, you will lead on clinical service delivery, guide junior team members, and take part in service development initiatives to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Conduct advanced clinical assessments and treatments for patients with a range of conditions.
  • Support, and mentor junior staff members in clinical decision-making and practice.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate goal-oriented rehabilitation programmes.
  • Work collaboratively within the MDT to provide holistic, patient-centred care.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Experience managing a complex caseload in the NHS or equivalent healthcare provider.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
